Field Service Engineer – East Midlands Area

PACTION Ltd is a national support provider to the waste and recycling industry and private enterprises. Our core business attribute is a fleet of national field engineers strategically located to provide key local support. The field engineers have an exceptional first time fix rate aided by the fully stocked vehicles and can provide reactive call outs and Planned Preventative Maintenance visits 7 days a week.

We also specialise in sales of new and used equipment, refurbishment programs of customer owned assets and an extensive range of parts for the majority of waste equipment manufacturers.

Job Brief

• Experienced engineer needed to cover East Midlands area
• Experience in hydraulic, mechanical, electrical fault finding and welding  on waste compaction and waste baling equipment or similar equipment / plant. 
• Will carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive repair breakdowns.
• Will need a good sense of general awareness and health and safety as will be working alone the majority of the time.
• Job specific tools will be provided however the candidate may want to use some personal tools to carry out certain tasks if they wish. 
• Salary is negotiable pending experience. 
• Working hours are from 8 – 5 Monday – Friday with overtime and weekend on call work rota - one per month
• Candidate must be willing from time to time to travel across the country for staff cover or two man job working as and when the business requires. 
• Daily schedule of work will be sent out via our software via company phone the night before for next day’s work. 
• Company van will be provided for use of business tasks.
