FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

Location - Nationwide, Mainland UK

With over 42 years of experience and gained knowledge in the scientific instrumentation industry and being one of the first independent service organisations in there field, Sci-Tek Instruments are able to offer unrivalled service and sales support to our extensive customer base which is complimented by our service team who are all very knowledgeable in all areas of instrumentation service, calibration, fault finding and repair.

We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our company to work on Scientific Instruments to include HPLC, LCMS, GC, GCMS, Spectrophotometers & Microplate Products.

Key role and responsibilities for Field Service Engineer

• Attend customer sites to perform routine maintenance & calibration.
• Carry out instrument breakdowns on customer sites.
• Perform and complete daily duties as expected for a Field Service Engineer role.
• Perform all on site work as expected by the customer and on behalf of the company.
• Work and communicate with the office providing regular updates of progress.
• Generation & completion of weekly time sheets and expenses.

Requirements for Field Service Engineer

• Previous experience in Field Service and the Scientific sector.
• HPLC, LCMS, GC, GCMS, Spectrophotometer & Microplate previous experience
• Worked within GLP Laboratories.
• Good understanding of Electro-Mechanical/Electronics.

(Not all needed to be considered for the role and would also look at candidates who have been laboratory based with analytical instrument experience & knowledge to include fault finding and repair)
