This is an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing and successful organisation. The role involves working with industrial machinery across a range of sectors.

You will be responsible for servicing, repairs, installations, commissioning, and providing comprehensive service support for packaging equipment across the UK.

Description of the role:

• Commissioning and installing new machines.
• Ensuring the equipment runs in the production environment.
• Problem solving and investigating root cause.
• Training customers with routine maintenance.
• Resolving issues relating to electrics, mechanics or software.
• Providing telephone diagnosis and support.
• Liaising between internal teams and customers.

About you:

• Proven experience in a Field Service Engineer or similar technical service role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience installing, commissioning, and maintaining industrial machinery.
• Ability to diagnose issues methodically and problem solving.
• Confident in training customers on equipment operation and routine maintenance.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between customers and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
