
Due to continued growth within our Service Department, our parent company Harry Dalby Engineering is looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to work on customers’ spraybooths and associated equipment across the UK.
This is a hands-on, field-based role involving servicing, fault-finding, breakdown response, and support with installations. The position requires nationwide travel, with overnight stays as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Servicing spraybooths and related equipment, including:
Changing filtration systems
Checking and adjusting system airflows
Checking and servicing gas burners
Replacing drive belts
Carrying out LEV inspections
Attending urgent breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and completing repairs where possible
Identifying and reporting any additional parts or remedial work required
Assisting with installations and remedial works when necessary
Travelling nationwide to customer sites, including overnight stays where required
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
The following are desirable, though full training will be provided for the right candidate:
Gas Safe qualified for Commercial Gas / Heating and Ventilation (required)
Electrical qualification or demonstrable electrical experience
IPAF certification
CSCS card
Full UK driving licence (required)
Salary & Benefits:
Basic salary: £30,500 – £35,000 per annum - depending on experience
Overtime paid at time and a half after 39 hours and for Saturday working
Double time for Sundays and Bank Holidays
Overnight stay allowances
Company van provided
