Finance Assistant

Job Description:

SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a business located in Nottingham, NG9 for a period of 3 - 6 months. You will benefit from an attractive salary package and will be part of a business who are offering an exciting and evolving opportunity.

FINANCE ASSISTANT
£25,000 - £30,000pa
Nottingham, NG9 - Office based
2pm finish on Fridays
Full time, Temporary - 3 - 6 months


KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure accuracy of purchase ledger entries and integrity of the AP aging report.
- Assist with the processing of AP transactions as needed.
- Prepare weekly payment proposals for management approval.
- Email vendor remittances for payments raised.
- Ensure accuracy of AR aging.
- Lead the collections process for accounts receivable ensure timely payment of AR debts.
- Email customer statements for outstanding debts.
- Daily update of bank transactions for various bank accounts.
- Weekly reconciliation of the bank accounts.

The ideal candidate will have experience within a finance function, have a strong knowledge of accounting practices and a keen eye for detail.
