Site Finance Manager Hinckley with travel to a second UK site | PE-backed manufacturing SME
£55,000 to £75,000 + 10–15% bonus + benefits | 4-day office week + Friday remote

A high-performing, private equity backed manufacturing SME is looking to appoint a qualified accountant to lead the finance function across two UK sites.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a dynamic and growing business, reporting directly into the CFO. The business has ambitious plans for growth and is expected to double in size over the next five years.

You will take full ownership of all site-based finance activity, leading a small team and working closely with both operational leaders and the wider group. This role offers the perfect blend of strategic input and day-to-day responsibility, in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

The Role

• Lead all finance operations across two manufacturing sites
  
  
• Report directly to the Chief Financial Officer, with strong visibility across the business
  
  
• Manage and develop a team of 2 Management Accountants and 4 transactional finance staff
  
  
• Own monthly management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis
  
  
• Deliver insight to support commercial and operational decision making
  
  
• Monitor working capital and cash flow, ensuring strong controls are in place
  
  
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting
  
  
• Act as a trusted finance partner to site leadership and group stakeholders
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  
  
• Background in a manufacturing or engineering business, ideally within an SME
  
  
• Strong technical grounding with experience in both financial and management accounting
  
  
• Confident team leader, able to develop and mentor junior staff
  
  
• Proactive, commercially aware and hands on in approach
  
  
• Comfortable working across multiple sites and engaging with senior leadership
  
  

What’s On Offer

• Salary: £55,000 to £75,000 depending on experience
  
  
• Bonus: 10 to 15 per cent performance related bonus
