Finance Supervisor

Job Description:

This is a permanent Finance Supervisor role which will oversee a small team of transactional finance staff. This is a brilliant position for someone in a Finance team leader role looking to gain more autonomy in leadership.

Description

Duties of the Finance Supervisor include but are not limited to:

• Supervise daily accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Review and approve financial documents, including invoices and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members in the Accounting & Finance department.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management review.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements within finance operations.

Profile

A successful Finance Supervisor should have:

• A strong background in transactional finance.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a small team effectively.
• Experience with financial software and tools for reporting and analysis.
• A professional qualification in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
