Financial Accountant – Derby Hybrid Up to £60K
I'm partnering with a thriving, fast-growing business in Derby offering a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to take ownership, make an impact, and shape the role as your own. Hybrid working (2–3 days in office) and a collaborative team culture make this a standout opportunity.

About You

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
• Strong hands-on experience in financial accounting, tax, and statutory reporting
• Ready to take the lead on VAT, audits, and financial close

Key Responsibilities

• Own VAT submissions across Europe and support international filings
• Liaise with external accountants to ensure consistency across systems
• Lead on statutory accounts, reconciliations, and tax compliance
• Support audits and monthly/year-end close
• Improve processes and maintain up-to-date financial policies
• Collaborate across teams and regions

Career Progression

• Exposure to international finance and cross-border projects
• Develop specialisms in VAT, transfer pricing, or audit strategy
• CPD and technical training to support your journey

Availability

• Immediate or short notice availability is advantageous
