Financial Controller
Full Time, Permanent, Nottinghamshire
c. £60,000-£65,000

The Role

• Lead the preparation and delivery of the monthly management accounts pack
• Balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and key financial insights.
• Spearhead talks with investors by delivering confident presentations.
• Oversee supplier payments, ensuring accuracy, efficiency is maintained
• Work to company deadlines
• Manage and develop a small team of two Management Accountants
• Drive commercial decision-making through detailed financial analysis
• Work closely with other departments
• Take ownership of financial controls
• Stock taking and auditing returns
• Work to the continuous improvement of the wider business

The Candidate

The ideal Financial Controller will be:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent with strong commercial acumen
• Ideally from an FMCG background
• Be an advanced MS Excel user
