What We're Looking For

Relevant Qualifications:

• First Aid - essential
• Valid CSCS Card - essential
• SSSTS or SMSTS - essential

Experience:

• A strong background in construction industry, supported by a minimum of three years' experience in finishing / internals management role
• Proven track record of working as a Finishing Manager for a reputable construction contractor

• Effective communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to organise and manage project schedules
• A solid understanding of relevant regulations and standards
• Proven ability to lead, support, and direct a team effectively

• Exceptional focus on detail to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Finishing Manager to play a key role in the final delivery of a £12m healthcare facility in Derbyshire. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all internal finishing works, snagging and close-out activities. The role requires strict adherence to building regulations and detailed project specifications to ensure the facility is delivered to the highest clinical and construction standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inductions
• Tool box talks
• Site safety inductions
• Liaise with external stakeholders
• Conduct and attend routine site meetings
• Address any problems or disputes that arise throughout
• Reporting regularly and consistently to the Project Manager
• Recognise possible threats to the works, implementing strategies to address them
• Coordinate and manage daily site activities, overseeing workers, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and healthcare-specific regulatory requirements at all times
• Managing resources such as materials, equipment, and labor to ensure they are used efficiently and effectively
• Maintaining precise records of all project elements, such as contracts, permits, change orders, and communications
• Enhance and maintain positive client relationships by resolving concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with project developments
