Fire & Security Project Engineer

Job Description:

We’re looking for a Projects Engineer to manage installation projects from start to finish. You’ll make sure fire and security systems are installed, tested, and handed over on time, within budget, and to a high standard. The role involves working with sales and service teams, contractors, and clients to deliver great results.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission fire and security systems, including alarms, access control, and CCTV.
• Work from technical drawings and project specifications.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to keep projects running smoothly.
• Test systems, fix faults, and ensure everything meets industry standards.
• Provide training and support to clients during handover.
• Keep accurate project records and follow all health and safety procedures.

Skills & Experience

• At least 2 years’ experience in fire and security installation or project work.
• Good knowledge of systems such as Honeywell, Pyronix, Hikvision, Paxton, Advanced, Kentec, and Hyfire.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Industry qualifications (FIA, ECS/CSCS, IPAF, PASMA) are an advantage.
