Fire & Security Service Engineer

Job Description:

We’re looking for a Service Engineer to join our client’s growing team. You’ll service, maintain, and repair fire and security systems at sites across the Midlands. The role involves working with the Service Manager and support team to keep systems running safely, efficiently, and in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and repair fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Complete regular maintenance visits and respond to emergency callouts.
• Take part in the on-call rota.
• Find and fix faults quickly and effectively.
• Provide clear updates and technical advice to clients.
• Keep all job records and reports accurate and up to date.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

Skills & Experience

• At least 2 years’ experience as a Service or Maintenance Engineer in fire and security.
• Knowledge of systems such as Honeywell, Pyronix, Hikvision, Paxton, Advanced, Kentec, and Hyfire.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage your time well.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Industry qualifications (FIA, ECS/CSCS, IPAF, PASMA) are an advantage.
