
ProGroup Recruitment are working with several leading fire protection contractors who are looking to appoint experienced Fire Stopping Contract Managers to join their growing delivery teams.
These are permanent, full-time positions overseeing passive fire protection projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, and education sectors. The roles are primarily Midlands-based but may involve nationwide travel and occasional stopping away as required.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the successful delivery of multiple fire stopping projects from pre-start through to completion
Manage site teams, subcontractors, and materials to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and third-party accreditations
Liaise with clients, site teams, and internal stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships
Produce RAMS, progress reports, and handover documentation
Requirements:
Proven experience in managing fire stopping/passive fire protection projects with a range of fire stopping products
Experience of compliance recording systems/apps
Strong understanding of fire safety compliance, installation standards, and third-party accreditations such as IFC, BM TRADA, and FIRAS
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to travel and stay away when required
Package:
Salary circa. £50,000 – £60,000 per annum
