FLT Counterbalance Driver
Material Handling (Not Warehouse)
Location: Coventry, CV6
Pay: £12.50 per hour + shift allowance £14.37 (shift allowance paid when permanent
Shifts: Rotating Monday to Friday (Days & Afternoons) Working 37.5 hours per week
Temp-to-Perm after 12 weeks

Empowered Personnel is currently recruiting an experienced FLT Counterbalance Material Handler to join a well established manufacturing company in Coventry. This is a material handling role, not warehouse pallet work. You will be responsible for moving manufactured materials into the despatch area and loading trailers with stillage’s.

FLT C/B Material Handler Shifts:

• Days: Monday to Thursday 06:00 – 14:15 & Friday 06:00 – 13:00
• Afternoons: Monday to Wednesday 14:00 – Midnight & Thursday 14:00 – 23:30

FLT C/B Material Handler Key Responsibilities:

• Operating FLT Counterbalance (FLT C/B) trucks with precision and safety at all times
• Moving finished materials into despatch and loading trailers using stillage’s
• Ensuring safe handling of goods in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Adhering strictly to all health & safety guidelines

FLT C/B Material Handler Key Requirements:

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (FLT C/B licence)
• Previous experience operating FLT Counterbalance trucks within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Ability to work rotating shifts consistently

Shift allowance paid when permanent as follows;
Working 37.5 hours per week on both shifts with the following shift allowance payable;
Day Shift: 10 hours shift allowance paid at £14.37 for 10 hours per week
afternoons: 27 hours paid at £14.37 per hour
Salary when perm including shift allowance £26,227.
