Bakery Operative – Kettering

Location: Kettering

Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm

Shifts: 12-hour shifts | Days & Nights | Weekend availability

Pay Rate: £12.21–£12.91/hr (initial), after 12 weeks: £12.45/hr Day shift | £13.15/hr Night shift

Vital People are currently recruiting friendly and motivated Bakery Operatives to join a busy food production site in Kettering.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a full-time, permanent role in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

About the Role:

• Work on a fast-moving food production line
• Assemble, pack, label, and quality check products
• Follow health & safety guidelines at all times

Shift Pattern:

Shifts are 12 hours, working 7 out of 14 days:

• Day Shift: 06:00 – 18:00
• Night Shift: 18:00 – 06:00

Example Rotation:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous food production experience is helpful but not essential
• Full training will be provided
• Strong teamwork and attention to detail
• Reliable and motivated
