Mobile Forklift Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Materials Handling Engineer / FLT Engineer / Plant Engineer
Location: Based near Lutterworth (daily depot reporting)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE + Overtime
Hours: 8.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join our growing team, based near Lutterworth. This field-based role would also suit candidates currently working as a Field Service Engineer, Materials Handling Engineer, FLT Engineer, or Plant Engineer with forklift experience.
The Role
- Service, maintenance, diagnostics and repair of forklifts and materials handling equipment
- Working on brands such as Heli, Toyota and similar
- Mobile, field-based role with national travel
- Potential overnight stays when required
- Reporting to the depot daily
- Delivering high levels of customer service and maintaining safety standards
Hours & Overtime
- 8.5-hour working day, Monday to Friday
- 1 hour before and 1 hour after shift paid at time and a quarter
- Anything beyond that and Saturdays paid at time and a half
- Sundays paid at double time

Requirements
- Experience as a Forklift Engineer / Materials Handling Engineer / FLT Engineer / Plant Engineer
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel nationally with occasional overnight stays
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
