We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented FP&A Accountant to join a high-performing finance team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong analytical skills and a commercial mindset to support key planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the quarterly forecast and annual budget submission process in collaboration with Finance Business Partners and functional leaders.
- Assist in preparing and delivering monthly board reports and executive-level commentary.
- Contribute to the coordination of the month-end flash reporting process, working closely with the Management Accounts and Commercial Finance teams.
- Prepare insightful, consolidated financial reports tailored to senior stakeholders.
- Maintain monthly rolling forecasts and assist in tracking cost-saving and productivity initiatives.
- Provide detailed financial analysis and support for ad-hoc projects and business cases.
- Liaise with the European FP&A team to ensure consistency in reporting and alignment of financial planning activities.
- Manipulate large datasets to extract key insights and trends to inform decision-making.
- Build strong relationships across finance and non-finance teams to support stakeholder needs and drive performance discussions.
- Use financial systems and tools to enhance efficiency in reporting and planning processes.
- Present financial data clearly and effectively using Excel (advanced level) and PowerPoint for board and leadership presentations.
Role Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
- Proven experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or management accounting roles.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of handling and interpreting large volumes of data.
- Excellent Excel skills, including use of pivot tables, lookups, and financial modelling techniques.
- Confident user of PowerPoint for financial storytelling and board-level reporting.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
- Proactive, organised, and detail-focused, with a strong sense of ownership.
