We are seeking a motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join a team in Leicester. You will be part of a highly regarded specialist contractor and consultancy delivering a wide range of ground engineering projects across the infrastructure, renewable energy, and marine sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging projects while being supported by an experienced and collaborative team.

As the Geotechnical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing detailed geotechnical reports, including Phase 1 and Phase 2 investigations

• Supervising ground investigations and coordinating site activities

• Conducting geohazard assessments and contributing to ground risk evaluations

• Reviewing laboratory and in-situ test data

• Providing guidance to graduate engineers and liaising with clients and project teams

Essential Criteria:

• Degree in Geology or a related geoscience discipline

• Must live within a commutable distance of Leicester

• Experience producing factual geotechnical reports

• Interpretative reporting experience (desirable)

• Strong leadership and communication skills
