A new opportunity has opened for a Geotechnical Engineer to join a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy based in Nottingham.

This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of ground investigation and geotechnical projects across residential, commercial, and infrastructure schemes. You will gain hands-on site experience, strong technical development, and clear progression opportunities within a supportive team.

This is a great opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to work on a range of projects whilsit receiving support from a team of talented engineers, whilst passing on knowledge to graduates.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out and supervising ground investigations
• Soil and rock logging to current standards
• Desk studies and site walkovers
• Preparing factual and interpretative reports
• Foundation recommendations and geotechnical assessments
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and project teams
• Ensuring health and safety compliance on site

Requirements

• Degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Earth Sciences, or related field
• Experience in ground investigation or geotechnical engineering
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
