We are looing for a Geotechnical Engineer who is interested to join a growing multidisciplinary consultancy in Derby. If you are looking to join a consultancy that specialises in delivering high-quality solutions for existing commercial and residential developments, we woud love to hear from you.

The Role

This Geotechnical Engineer position will see you working across a variety of projects, supporting the assessment, investigation, and development of sites within existing commercial and residential environments.

As a Geotechnical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and supervising ground investigations
• Soil and rock logging in line with industry standards
• Producing factual and interpretive geotechnical reports
• Carrying out analysis and providing foundation and design recommendations
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Supporting junior staff and contributing to project delivery

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer looking to develop technically while gaining exposure to a strong pipeline of repeat business across existing developments.

Requirements

• Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering, or similar
• Experience within a geotechnical or ground investigation role
• Strong understanding of site investigation techniques and reporting
• Familiarity with UK standards and Eurocodes
• Full UK driving licence
