Term: Permanent
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

An established engineering company based in Leicestershire is currently seeking a Graduate Design Engineer to join their expanding design team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment, working on a range of innovative engineering projects.

The Graduate Design Engineer will ideally have the following:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, or a similar discipline
  
  
• Good understanding of mechanical and/or product design principles
  
  
• Experience using 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar)
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and a creative approach to problem-solving
  
  
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
  
  
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop
  
  

The Graduate Design Engineer role will involve:

• Supporting the design team in creating and modifying 3D models and 2D drawings
  
  
• Assisting in the development of new and existing products
  
  
• Working with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs
  
  
• Producing BOMs and technical documentation
  
  
• Participating in design reviews and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
