Our client, an aerospace manufacturer, is recruiting for a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer for their site in Leicester. The role will involve supporting manufacturing cells by driving engineering improvements, resolving issues, and ensuring consistent product quality and workflow.

Job Description

• Supporting manufacturing teams with day-to-day problem solving, ensuring workflow continuity and achievement of output and quality targets.
• Implementing engineering process improvements in tooling, layout, and programming to maintain product conformity and enhance efficiency.
• Investigating root causes of recurring issues, applying corrective actions to reduce rework, scrap, and non-conformance.
• Producing process documentation and delivering workforce training to standardize procedures and build technical capability.
• Collaborating with planning and control teams to ensure readiness for new or existing orders, including tooling, training, and documentation.

 
Graduate Manufacturing Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Holder of a degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification (HNC/HND) or experience
• Previous shopfloor manufacturing engineering experience
• Experience in fast-paced mass production environments with a strong focus on problem solving would be advantageous
