Pay: £90 per day
Contract: Full-time, term-time only

A welcoming and supportive school in the Corby area is seeking motivated graduates to join their Graduate Teaching Programme. This role is ideal for graduates who are considering a future career in teaching and want hands-on classroom experience before progressing onto teacher training.

The Graduate Teaching Programme offers aspiring teachers the opportunity to gain paid, practical experience in a school setting. You will work closely with experienced teachers, supporting learning in the classroom while developing the skills, confidence, and understanding needed to progress into Initial Teacher Training (ITT), such as a PGCE or School Direct route.

This programme is particularly suited to graduates who want to:

• Explore teaching as a career before committing to formal training

• Build classroom experience to strengthen future teacher training applications

• Develop behaviour management and lesson support skills in a real school environment

• Supporting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management

• Working with pupils 1:1 or in small groups to reinforce learning

• Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

• Gaining exposure to planning, assessment, and pastoral support

• Developing an understanding of the national curriculum and school life

• A recent graduate (any subject considered; core subjects desirable)

• Passionate about education and working with young people

• Confident, reliable, and eager to learn

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• £90 per day, paid weekly
