Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across the Leicester and Charnwood areas. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a future in teaching or education to gain hands-on classroom experience.

The Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils' learning, development, and wellbeing. You'll help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment, assist with classroom activities, and provide tailored support to individual pupils or small groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in delivering lessons and classroom management
• Work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils who need additional support
• Help to prepare and organise teaching materials
• Encourage positive behaviour and promote inclusion for all pupils
• Contribute to the wider school community and activities

About You:

• A recent graduate in any discipline (2:2 degree or above preferred)
• Experience working with children in any setting (e.g., school, tutoring, youth work, volunteering, mentoring, etc.)
• A patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential
