Head of Financial Planning – Housing Focus - £60-70,000 + Benefits – Hybrid working
 
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-respected, not for profit organisation, who are looking for an exceptional Head of Financial Planning to take the helm of strategic planning, system integration, and financial governance for their Housing function – a role that will influence decisions right across the Group.
This is more than just numbers. It’s about ensuring every pound works harder, every decision is data-driven, and every system helps them deliver real impact for the communities they serve.
 
Key Responsibilities…

• Lead with Vision: Shape and deliver financial strategies that ensure sustainability and growth, working closely with the Group CFO and Executive Leadership Team.
• Drive Change: Oversee the successful integration of a new finance system, embedding smarter, faster, and more insightful reporting across the Group.
• Set the Standard: Ensure robust compliance with all financial regulations, from housing association governance to statutory reporting.
• Empower Performance: Provide clear, actionable management information and KPIs to drive operational and strategic excellence.
• Collaborate for Impact: Partner with housing teams, support services, and the wider organisation to align financial management with their mission.

 
Who We’re Looking For?…

• A qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive senior leadership experience.
• A proven track record in financial strategy, governance, and systems integration.
• Deep understanding of housing association finance and related compliance requirements.
• A confident communicator who inspires teams, influences stakeholders, and thrives in complex, mission-driven environments.
