Head of Project Installations

Job Description:

Our Client, a leading FTSE 250 Business is committed to building a more sustainable future by designing and manufacturing innovative solutions that address the critical challenges of water management and surface water drainage issues.

As a critical element of their ambitious growth plans, they are now looking to appoint the role of "Head of Installations" which is a brand new role within the business. The Head of Installations leads and manages all installation activities and onsite operations. The role encompasses overseeing project delivery, upholding quality and safety standards both onsite and offsite, managing budgets, and driving operational excellence. As a key enabler of business growth, the Head of Installations is responsible for scaling installation capabilities and developing strategies that support long-term expansion.

You will have 4 direct reports, including Contract Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Installation Planners.

Some of the activities will include the following:

• Lead and inspire a national team of installers.
• Drive successful delivery projects — on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
• Shape and execute installation strategies to fuel growth.
• Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and customer service for seamless project delivery.
• Track performance, boost efficiency, and maximise customer satisfaction.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

In terms of your experience and skillset, we are looking for candidates with proven experience in managing large-scale installation operations within construction. Additionally you will need to hold a degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a closely aligned specialist subject
