As an HSE & Sustainability trainee, you will gain hands-on experience across multiple sites while completing recognized professional training. No prior experience needed – full training provided.
This is a Entry-level training position with progression to Group HSE for a driven and enthusiastic candidate.
📍 Derby | Travel required across UK (after training period)
💼 Full-Time | 💷 £30,000 per annum
Working Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 8.00am – 5.00pm
- Friday: 8.00am – 1.00pm (early finish every Friday)

What You Will Do
- Support HSE, Environmental, Energy and Sustainability activities across the Group
- Assist site teams with external audits, inspections, reporting and improvement actions
- Help promote a strong safety culture and good working practices
- Learn how to manage compliance with legal requirements and company standards
- Contribute to energy-saving and sustainability initiatives
- Train towards ISO 14001, 45001 and 50001 standards
- Take part in incident investigations and help identify improvements

About You
- Minimum 4 GCSEs (grade 4/C or above), including Maths, English and Science

- Able to work with people at all levels and travel between sites
- Interest in HSE, environment, energy or sustainability
- No prior experience needed – full training provided
