As a Health and Safety Officer, you'll…
- Champion a positive health and safety culture across all departments
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and audits
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions (RIDDOR)
- Maintain and update H&S policies, procedures, and training records
- Manage COSHH, DSEAR, LOLER, PUWER, and fire safety systems
- Oversee environmental compliance and waste stream management
- Maintain ISO certifications (ISO9001, 14001 & 45001) and support BSI assessments
- Conduct internal audits and manage non-conformities
- Prepare management review reports and respond to customer ISO queries

- Solid knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and best practices.
- NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH equivalent
- Working for manufacturing businesses is essential
- IMS Internal Auditor
