Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager / SHEQ Manager to support projects across the Leicestershire area.

Health & Safety Manager / SHEQ Manager Overview:

As a Health & Safety Manager / SHEQ Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing the company's Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality standards across live construction projects. You will work closely with project and senior management teams to ensure compliance, drive best practice, and promote a positive SHEQ culture throughout the business.

Health & Safety Manager / SHEQ Manager Responsibilities:

• Managing and implementing Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems across multiple projects

• Ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation, company procedures, and client requirements

• Conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, providing clear corrective actions where required

• Leading incident investigations and ensuring lessons learned are communicated effectively

• Supporting and maintaining ISO management systems, including ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001

• Delivering SHEQ training, toolbox talks, and ongoing guidance to site teams

• Producing reports, statistics, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders

• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, auditors, and regulatory bodies

Health & Safety Manager / SHEQ Manager Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Health & Safety Manager or SHEQ Manager role within a Main Contractor environment

• Strong experience across Environmental and Quality management

• NEBOSH Certificate (minimum requirement)

• Good working knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards

• Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage at all levels

• Proactive, organised, and confident working across multiple sites
