Are you a proactive Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist who is passionate about creating a safe, sustainable and complaint workplace? We are working with a leader in advanced engineering who are looking for a Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have a strong Health, Safety and Envionmental background within an industrial/manufacturing environment and enjoy a hands on, fast paced role.

Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist
Job Description

• Maintenance and development of the Health, Safety and Environmental management systems to ISO14001 and 45001.
• Development, implementation and maintenance of health, safety and environmental manuals, procedures, forms and safe systems of work.
• Maintenance and control of various permits and consents including environmental agency and local authority representatives.
• Conduct risk assessments and oversee the coordination and completion of action plans.
• Delivering health, safety and environmental training across the business and for new starter inductions.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Proven experience working in a health, safety and environmental role within a manufacturing/engineering/industrial environment.
• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of ISO4001 and 45001
• Full UK driving license
