Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Salary: £15.00/hour PAYE (£16.81/hour incl. holiday) | £130/day + Bonus when permanent
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm
Start Time: 6:50 AM – finish varies depending on deliveries (typically 2 PM to 6 PM)
Sector: Driving / Logistics / Construction

🚛 Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team in Corby. This is a temp-to-perm role, with the opportunity to go full-time for the right candidate.

You’ll be responsible for delivering materials to local construction sites using a barrel mixer or volumetric truck. Full training is provided unless you already have relevant experience.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Class 2 HGV vehicles to deliver materials

• Operate barrel mixers and volumetric trucks (training provided)

• Complete all deliveries on the daily job sheet

• Clean down the truck at the end of each shift

• Communicate clearly and follow health & safety on-site

• Work closely with a small, supportive team

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

• Ideally 2 years’ HGV experience

• Must speak and understand English clearly (for site safety)

• Hard-working, reliable and a good team player

• Willingness to learn and train on new vehicle types

💷 Pay & Benefits:

While Temp (through RMB):

• £15.00/hour PAYE

• £16.81/hour PAYE including holiday pay

Once Permanent with the Company:

• £130/day

• Bonus Scheme: £3.00 per delivery ticket
