Job Description:

HGV Mechanic – Burton-On-Trent Hourly Rate: £18.00 - £22.00 per hour
OTE: £52,500+ Per year

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday:
  • Week 1: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Week 2: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Overtime: Available at time and a half rate

Your Role:

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of HGVs to industry standards
• Prepare and present vehicles and trailers for MOT inspections
• Diagnose and repair faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and health & safety standards
• Accurately complete all required paperwork

What We’re Looking For:

• Level 3 Qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ) in HGV Mechanics or equivalent, or substantial time-served experience
• HGV licence is an advantage but not essential
• Diagnostic experience is beneficial
• A team player with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance
