🚛 HGV Technician – Corby (4 on 4 off Day Shift)

📍 Location: Corby, North Northamptonshire
💷 Pay: £21.19 per hour
🕒 Shift: 4 on 4 off – Day Shift (06:00 – 18:30)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in Corby. This role offers excellent pay, a modern fleet to work on, and the benefit of a 4 on 4 off shift pattern for a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair HGVs to a high standard

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance and inspections

• Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic tools and PC systems

• Complete job cards, service, and inspection sheets accurately

• Conduct road tests and ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards

• Handle vehicles, tools, and equipment with care

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Requirements

✅ NVQ / City & Guilds qualified technician OR proven HGV repair experience
✅ Full driving licence
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
💡 LGV C+E Licence and knowledge of Driver CPC or other legislated requirements are a bonus
