About your new Trailer Technician role

A family run business that has been established for over 30 years, won multiple awards for their service and have numerous depots located across the U.K. Due to their ever-expanding/growing team they are currently looking for an additional skilled HGV / Trailer Technician to join their depot in Coventry working a 4o4o Day shift. Maintaining and repairing a fleet of trailers

About your new Trailer Technician role

• Service, inspection, maintenance and repair of trailers
• Electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation
• Overhaul electrical equipment and components
• Welding and metal working
• MOT preparation
• Parts ordering and stores management
• Opportunities to gain training in IRTEC, LOLER/Weight Test, BPW, Operator Licence Awareness, Deck Training and FLT (new / refresher)

Key skills / experience required for the Trailer Technician role

• An in-depth knowledge of commercial vehicles and trailers.
• Be a fully qualified HGV / Trailer Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 or have proven time served experience in the role
• Be able to undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair
• HGV Licence would be beneficial but not essential
