Hgv Technician

Job Description:

Questech Automotive are recruiting on behalf of an Industry leading client for experienced HGV Technicians. This is an excellent chance for an experienced Technician to join a company that invests in their staff for ongoing training and professional development.

You will be a fully qualified HGV Technician with experience of maintaining a variety of HGV’s. This would also suit a fully qualified Lights technician with experience on HGVs.

The Duties:

• Carrying out service, Maintenance and Repair on a range of vehicles
• Diagnosing faults in hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• 6 weekly inspections
• Carry out welding fabrication and body repairs where needed
• MOT preparation

Specification

• You must be a fully qualified Level 3 Mechanic or equivalent.
• Class 1 or 2 licence is desirable but not essential.

The Hours:

You will work Monday to Friday on a rotating shift 6am to 2pm and 10am to 6pm. OT is available at 1.5x.

The rate of pay:

You will earn an hourly rate between £18.90 to £20.35. You are also entitled to a tool allowance of £1000 per year.

This role can be done either straight permanently or on a Temp to Perm basis.
