Are you an experienced Hire Controller looking to join a fast-paced powered access business with a reputation for exceptional service and strong team culture?

Our client is a well-established hire company supplying powered access equipment to a diverse customer base across construction, industrial, and commercial sectors. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to add an organised and customer-focused Hire Controller to their Swadlincote-area depot.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle customer enquiries and hire requests efficiently via phone and email
• Provide quotations and process hire contracts for powered access equipment
• Schedule deliveries, collections, and service calls with transport and engineering teams
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Ensure all hire documentation and records are accurate and up to date

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a Hire Controller, Hire Desk, or Service Controller role
• Knowledge of powered access, plant hire, or tool hire
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise and thrive in a busy hire environment
• A proactive, customer-first attitude
