Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: East & West Midlands
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full‑time, long‑term
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Are you an experienced HLTA looking to make a real impact in a warm, inclusive and forward‑thinking school?

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning, can take initiative, and is confident leading whole‑class sessions when required.

The Role

• Supporting teaching and learning across the schools
• Delivering planned lessons in the teacher’s absence
• Leading small group interventions to raise attainment
• Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs
• Contributing to planning, assessment and classroom organisation
• Working closely with teachers, support staff and senior leaders

We’re Looking For

• A qualified HLTA (or significant TA experience with HLTA responsibilities)
• Someone confident delivering whole‑class teaching
• Strong behaviour management and a calm, supportive approach
• A team player with good communication skills
• Someone organised, proactive and passionate about pupil progress
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
