Hospitality & Catering Teacher – Maternity Cover
Location: LE3, Leicester
Start Date: August
Contract: Full-time (5 days per week) – Maternity Cover

A secondary school in the LE3 area of Leicester is seeking a Hospitality and Catering Teacher to join their team from August to cover a maternity leave.

This is a full-time role (5 days per week) teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, preparing materials, and assessing student progress.

• Teach Hospitality and Catering to KS3 and KS4 students

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons

• Assess and monitor student progress

• Create a positive and engaging learning environment

• Follow the school’s curriculum and safeguarding policies

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

• Experience teaching Hospitality, Food Technology, or Catering at secondary level

• Strong classroom management skills

• Ability to plan lessons and carry out assessments

• Supportive secondary school located in the LE3 area

• Well-resourced department

• Welcoming staff team and positive learning environment
