Job Description:

Daily Rate: £162 – £251
Start Date: September 2025

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in the Derbyshire area this September. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who can deliver engaging lessons across subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies, inspiring students to think critically about the world around them.

• Teach Humanities across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)

• Work within a supportive and collaborative department

• Weekly pay between £162 – £251, depending on experience

• Access to CPD and career development through Teaching Personnel

• Opportunities for both long-term and permanent positions

• Full-time role with some flexibility available

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)

• Experience teaching Humanities subjects in UK secondary schools

• Strong subject knowledge and passion for History, Geography, or RE

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• A proactive, engaging approach to teaching and learning

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
