Installation Engineer

Job Description:

Installation Engineer / LEV Engineer/ Service Engineer required to join a global, leading Indusrial Filtrationa and Extraction manufacturer.

The successful Installation Engineer / LEV Engineer / Service Engineer will be field based covering the UK, responsible for the installation, servicing and maintenance of LEV and extraction systems, working across a range of industrial environments including manufacturing, engineering workshops, automotive, fabrication, processing plants and other industrial facilities. Full industry training and product knowledge will be provided. 
 
The successful Installation Engineer / LEV Engineer / Service Engineer must have an installation or servicing background, having installed or serviced dust & fume extraction, welding extraction, oil & mist extraction, ductwork systems, ventilation equipment, or related Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems. 

Package

• £30,000 basic salary, realistic monthly commission between £2,000 and £3,000

The Installation Engineer / LEV Engineer/ Service Role

• Installation and servicing of LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) systems across a wide range of industrial and manufacturing environments.
• Installation, repair and maintenance of LEV ductwork, extraction systems, fans, filters and associated ventilation equipment.
• Carrying out filter changes, ductwork repairs and general servicing of LEV systems to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
• Supporting basic LEV retesting and inspections following servicing or repairs to confirm system performance.
• Working closely with inspection, commissioning and engineering teams, supporting installation and service activities across multiple projects.
• Role involves site-based work, travel and occasional working away, supporting projects nationwide depending on client requirements.
• Commutable to the Midlands once a week for parts, with regular travel to client sites across the UK.

The Installation Engineer / LEV Engineer/ Service Requirements

• Previous experience as an LEV Engineer, Installation Engineer, Service Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Ductwork Installer or similar.
• Mechanical engineering background in installation or servicing of ventilation, extraction or ductwork systems.
• Experience in LEV system installations, ductwork fitting, filter changes, repairs and servicing is essential.
• Experience with LEV systems or industrial ventilation equipment would be advantageous.
• Able to work independently on installation and service work, including basic system retesting following repairs or maintenance.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel and work away when required.
