Integration Engineer – EV Propulsion

Contract | 6 Months | Office Based

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Integration Engineer to support Electric Vehicle (EV) propulsion systems within a leading automotive OEM programme.

This role focuses on Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) propulsion integration, including high voltage (HV) systems, electric drive units (EDU), inverter and battery systems, with strong involvement in PiL (Powertrain in the Loop) and ViL (Vehicle in the Loop) testing and validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute PiL and ViL test plans
• Lead design validation (DV) planning and test execution
• Conduct rig testing, data analysis and system validation
• Support HV system integration and calibration activities
• Perform 8D problem solving and root cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Collaborate across systems, software and calibration teams

Essential Experience

• Proven experience in BEV / EV propulsion systems
• Hands-on PiL and/or ViL testing
• Strong knowledge of high voltage (HV) systems
• Experience with validation, integration and test rigs
• Exposure to calibration and control systems
• Familiarity with AVL or Horiba test rigs desirable
