IT Operations Support Specialist

Service Desk Support

• Be the first point of contact for IT support via phone, email, and ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for both local and remote users.
• Handle user onboarding/offboarding, including account setup and equipment provisioning.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and maintain clear documentation of incidents and resolutions.

Infrastructure Operations

• Assist with system checks, builds, and updates under the guidance of the Infrastructure Engineering team.
• Monitor system alerts and escalate issues as needed.
• Support asset inventory and hardware lifecycle processes.
• Contribute to IT projects and deployments.

• 3-5 years of experience in a technical support or service desk role.
• Solid understanding of Windows OS (desktop and server).
• Familiarity with Active Directory, ticketing systems, and remote support tools.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Basic knowledge of networking, virtualization, and storage.

• Exposure to ITIL practices or certification.
• Experience with endpoint management tools.
• Interest in systems administration and networking.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
