Junior Controls Systems Engineer

Job Description:

My client are specialist machine manufatcure of bespoke solutions and equipment for multiple sectors are looking for a Junior Control Systems Engineer to join their engineering team which is now growig and seeking additional support.

Job Responsibilities:

• Programming PLCs, HMI’s and Servo systems (Siemens and Allen Bradley) for bespoke machines.
• Designing Electrical Control Systems.
• Testing, De-bugging, Commissioning and Servicing of Machines.
• Problem Solving both on-site at customers premises and remotely via email / web access.
• Dealing with Suppliers in the UK and Overseas.

Experience Required:

• Understanding of Siemens and / or Rockwell Allen Bradley plc and servo systems.
• Experience of special-purpose automated machines.
• An understanding of Industry 4.0, data collection and transfer, communication protocols etc.
• A highly-organised and tidy work style.
• Willingness to travel overseas for short periods.
• Qualified to Degree level or equivalent in Electrical / Control Engineering.
