Junior Estimator

Job Description:

Our client is a specialist passive fire protection contractor operating nationwide, delivering high-quality projects across residential, healthcare, and Ministry of Justice (MOJ) sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to join their pre-construction team.

The Role

Working closely with the pre-construction team, the Junior Estimator will support the preparation and delivery of competitive tenders for refurbishment and new build fire door projects. Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
• Supporting take-offs and cost analysis
• Maintaining accurate records and assisting with project handovers

Requirements

• Some exposure to an estimating role within the construction industry (essential)
• Strong organisational and analytical skills
• Ambitious, driven attitude with a desire to progress
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
