Junior Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

Salary: £30,000

A well-established engineering consultancy is looking to bring on an Intermediate / Junior Mechanical Engineer to join a small, growing team. The right person will have strong CAD skills, a willingness to learn broadly, and a passion for developing their career within the Building Services.

• Producing mechanical engineering drawings using AutoCAD (you will be expected to help with both mechanical and some electrical CAD work)

• Working on varied projects: residential apartments, medical facilities, London-based commercial & residential developments, and office refurbishments

• Receiving mentorship from a senior lead, with opportunity to widen your experience across disciplines

• Flexible working start times (e.g. the lead often starts later and values work output over rigid hours)

• Solid experience with AutoCAD - competent, confident, clean drawing output

• Some prior mechanical engineering experience (even at junior/intermediate level), ideally including reading / producing full mechanical design drawings

• A good attitude for learning, being trained up, exposed to wider aspects of engineering beyond just drafting

• Someone reliable, self-motivated, able to work with autonomy once briefed

• Salary around £30,000 - reflective of your skills, experience and growth potential
