Junior Project Manager

Job Description:

Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking organisation, is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, proactive individual looking to launch or progress their career in project management.

In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of projects across multiple business areas. Working closely with senior project managers, stakeholders, and project teams, you’ll gain practical experience with project lifecycles, methodologies, and reporting processes while contributing to business-critical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate communication and collaboration between internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Track project progress, risks, and issues, escalating where appropriate.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports, action logs, and presentations.
• Support senior project managers with project administration and day-to-day operations.
• Contribute to process improvements and project evaluation activities.

Requirements:

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Trello, Asana, or Jira) is an advantage.
• Ability to work proactively, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Degree in Business, Management, IT, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
• Up to 2 years’ experience in an office, administrative, or project-support role is desirable, but motivated graduates are encouraged to apply.
