Job Title: Labourer

Location: Derby

Job Type: Temporary minimum 6 months

Working hours: standard days 39hrs

Rate: £13ph with overtime available

AMLR Manufacturing & Engineering recruitment services have partnered with a leading East midlands Aerospace Manufacturer who are seeking a dedicated labourer to join in their Derbyshire based facility. This is a minimum of 6 months temp.

Responsibilities for the labourer:

• Assist engineers on machine shop floor
• Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare and clean work areas and make filter changes on machines
• Follow health and safety protocols, ensuring PPE is worn and hazards are reported.
• Maintain site cleanliness and tidiness.
• Carry out other general labouring tasks as directed by supervisors

Person specifications for the labourer:

• Previous experience in a labouring or engineering support role.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks.
• Awareness of site health and safety practices.
• Reliable, punctual, and hard-working.
• Team player with a proactive attitude.
