Lead Design Engineer

Job Description:

THE COMPANY

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join this expanding company operating within the recycling, waste management and alternate energy recovery sector with projects in excess of $100m.

THE JOB

You will design heavy capital processing plant and fabrications using 3d Solidedge. With an excellent understanding of manufacturing processes and construction/fabrication methods you will be able to verify your designs with calculations and the use of software tools.

THE CANDIDATE

Qualified to degree standard in Mechanical Engineering, you will have a background in process plant design such as chemical,steel, bulk minerals, gasification or waste to energy and have worked on projects from conception to completion.

THE PACKAGE

Basic salary of £55k to £75k depending on experience
