Working within our Quality team, this role will make a significant contribution to further enhancing the quality of learning, teaching, and assessment College wide.
The aim of the Quality team is to ensure continuous development across the College in relation to learning, teaching and assessment practice; with an emphasis on improving the quality of learning and outcomes for all learners. The Learning, Teaching and Development Coach will have a key role in providing individualised support within curriculum areas, supporting learner facing staff individually, in teams and cross college to improve and achieve consistently good and outstanding learning, teaching and assessment practice. Contributing to higher learner satisfaction and achievement. You will also have responsibility for the planning and delivery of sessions on learning, teaching and assessment during Staff Development Days, team training events, targeted CPD sessions, and one-to-one coaching.
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate a good to outstanding profile of teaching in their specialist area and an attitude of excellence towards their own work standards. They will collaborate with staff teams across the College and external partners using coaching and mentoring to support reflective practice and encourage innovative learning, teaching, and assessment practices, taking a lead role in their implementation.
Applicants should be qualified to Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
