Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (Term Time Only)
Contract: Ongoing / Permanent for the right candidate

Are you a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant looking to make a real difference in children’s lives?
Our vibrant and welcoming school in Leicester is seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant to join their friendly team, supporting pupils aged 3–11 years with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) in small class settings.
About the Role:
You will work closely with the class teacher to provide individualised and group support, helping pupils to reach their full potential both academically and socially. The role will involve supporting children with a variety of low- and high-level needs, adapting learning materials, and helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have previous experience supporting children with SEN
Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
Be hardworking, reliable, and enthusiastic
Have knowledge of phonics and strategies to support early learning
Be patient, caring, and committed to helping every child succeed
Be willing to provide sufficient references, including your most recent employment reference
Hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to complete a new application
